Lead Sales Engineer

  • Performs liaison duties between clients, operations, and programming personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting.
  • Support business development efforts within the sector with primary focus on assigned accounts. This includes conceptual design, sizing and pricing, proposal development, proof-of-concept development, contracting and supporting sales presentations.
  • Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
  • Install and configure hardware, network and software for the cloud and on premise versions of the artificial intelligence solution.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  • Work with sales teams to ensure timely deliver of solutions to customers.
  • Prepare and assist in demonstrations of artificial intelligence platform to customers, partners, etc.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with help desk, CRM, ERM, FM and HR systems, Email, telephone, phone/virtual conferencing, networking, remote access, virtual environments and other office systems and software programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent from a fully-accredited college or university.
  • Fifteen or more years of experience in IT and business/industry, with at least 5 years of experience in public sector consulting.
  • Five or more years of leadership responsibilities.
  • Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new ideas and master concepts rapidly.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT strategic planning, organization design and development.
  • Experience with testing Cloud based applications on AWS and on premise.
  • Eligibility to get Top Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of technology environments, including telecommunications, networks, databases, web development, systems networking and programming, media, information security and end-user computing environments.
  • Proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments.
  • Strategic thinking and proactive acting, to stay a step ahead of the company’s technical needs.
  • Possess hands-on marketing experience; capable of staffing, managing, mentoring and driving marketing teams to deliver products, manage communications/messaging, competitive intelligence, PR, events, and media relations.
  • Must be a responsive, flexible team player that is self-motivated, self-starting, and enthusiastic.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively communicate ideas, problems and solutions with all members of the organization.
  • Strong background in developing complex web-based applications built on relational database technologies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to efficiently work independently and within groups.
